At Hagar’s Heart, we believe in the power of compassion and support. We started this journey with a simple but profound mission: to show survivors of domestic abuse that they are valued, cared for, and seen. We understand the emotional and mental toll that leaving an abusive situation can take. We’ve been there ourselves and are here to help others on their path to healing.
The I See You Box
Often, survivors of domestic abuse flee their situations with nothing but the clothes on their backs or, if they’re fortunate, they’ve created a safety plan to come with very few essential items for their family. Recognizing this need, we created the “I See You” box. Each box is carefully curated to provide personal care items and tokens to boost self-esteem and mental wellness.
These boxes symbolize love, hope, and support, and they make a meaningful impact on the lives of survivors.

Our staƯ will guide you every step of the way, helping ensure you have all the items needed to create meaningful I See You Boxes. You can focus on sharing love, hope, and support while we help you prepare.

Guidance and Support
From speaking to your group, ordering supplies, to sending Hagar’s Heart staƯ to you, we want to create a one-of-a-kind volunteer experience. Whether at your location or ours, our staƯ will tailor the experience to your group’s needs and guide you every step of the way.
Host a Packing Party
Bring your team CSR, your church group, or civic organization together for a meaningful, hands-on experience. Your team can sponsor the boxes, host a donation drive, and pack I See You Boxes alongside our staƯ, turning the engagement into hope and care for survivors.
